Local silk screenprinting apparel company Traxler Tees has moved to a new building (4608 Indianola Ave. Ste. E) that is about two miles north of its former location. The move means the company has about 900 more square feet of much-needed space.
“We’ve exponentially grown,” said co-owner Zachary Traxler (pictured). “We wanted to expand but we didn’t want to move the business from Clintonville. The local sustainability here is tremendous and the community is great.”
Renovation plans for the new space are already in the works. Traxler said they plan to double the size of the space in the next six months, giving the company an opportunity to increase production and expand their design of items other than T-shirts, such as gig posters, wedding invitations, tags for garments and notebooks. This all will help them lure more high-profile customers (such as The Black Keys, with whom the staff recently had a meeting) and promote Traxler Tees’ start-local-buy-Ohio proclivity.
