Zachary Traxler

Co-Founder | Co-Owner

For more than 30 years, Zachary Traxler’s family has been in the T shirt business. Originally started right here in Columbus, Ohio – Zach’s father, Ron Kaplan created more than 30 years of cult classic land locked surf gear - Surf Ohio and relevant pop culture tees during the 70′s, 80′s, and 90′s. This trade and tradition was passed to Zach with the help of his wife Erin – have grown to help local Columbus businesses step up their business apparel, branding, and more. Contact us to see how we can help you!

Erin Traxler

Co-Founder | Co-Owner

Erin started her career in screen printing three days after marrying Zach. Propelled in to entrepreneurship  screen printing, and accounting – Erin is now majority owner of Traxler Tees and in charge of Accounts Payable. She enjoys cooking, baking, camping, and is a soon to be mother.

Garritt Kooiker

Production Manager

Garritt received his BFA degree from the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design and has focused a majority of his professional career (6 years and counting) printing apparel. He has printed a multitude of garments and substrates in his years ranging from official team college jerseys, vast number of yard signs to a one-off record winning cyclist’s kit. Garritt is a master tinkerer and loves renovating his 1940’s home with his girlfriend Kristin and basset mix pup Ike. When not at the shop and knee deep in renovations he enjoys designing fine art prints, small woodworking projects and his vintage motorcycle.

Rob Byard

Master Screen Printer

Rob is a former US Navy Petty Officer who attended Art College for a short period of time where he learned his passion for screen printing. In 2005 he started printing commercially in large format flat stock printing. Later, in 2008 Rob moved to apparel printing and has been since. He has a 10 year old daughter named Nya who is the love of his life. His girlfriend Katie (who is also the love of his life) introduced him to Traxler Tees in 2012 and we had to add him to the team. Rob is also very a passionate cyclist and record collector. He wanted us to let you know, he’s a Gemini.

Garth Phillips

Screen Printer

Garth Phillips is a soon to be graduate of the Columbus Collage of Art and Design. His major is in Illustration. Drawn to screen printing in high school as a way to make his own t-shirts, he decided and dedicated from there to make it into his career. This obsession with both fabric and flat stock printing has caused many sleepless nights, and has possibly turned him insane. Garth is an avid Cleveland Browns fan, which also probably turned him insane…

Graham Erwin

Principle Designer | Pre Production Manager

Graham Erwin was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where he felt from a young age that his obsession with drawing would lead to a career in the arts. After painting murals locally in high school, Graham decided to study illustration at the Columbus College of Art and Design. He soon discovered a fascination with the screen printing process, where he found inspiration in the balance between aesthetics and practicality in the print process. Graham graduated top of his class and with distinct honor, earning the “Exceptional Student Award” given to only one student out of each major. Within 6 months of graduation Graham began selling screen prints internationally, showing in galleries across the country, winning prestigious design awards, and even freelancing for one of the most respected companies in the movie poster world, Mondo. Currently he spends his days working with Traxler Tees creating unique t-shirt designs for a wide range of clients, while at night he perfects his own unique brand of illustration. Outside of work Graham spends his time watching horror films, obsessing over metal music, and eating his favorite meal; The Yak Burger from his favorite local food truck The Coop!
