National Kidney Foundation – 2012 Kidney Walk – Traxler Tees Becomes Sponsor

We are dedicated to helping nonprofits. As most of you know the story of how we got started – it was to help local businesses, nonprofits, and local consumers gain access to locally sourced and produced high quality custom silk screen printing. This has led us to many new great relationships with you and the businesses and nonprofits your have grown to love. Traxler Tees will be sponsoring the Naitonal Kidney Foundation’s 2012 Kidney Walk. To learn more about the NKF and the 2012 Kidney Walk read below. But first we will explain how you can help through purchasing the custom apparel you already need from Traxler Tees.   Order Shirts and here are your options: Get a discount and we’ll donate for every garment you order! Order any custom team apparel – this could be for your fudraising team or any other team you are currently a member of – volleyball, soccer, and so on. Let Traxler Tees add our logo to your existing design we will give you a $.50 discount per garment and we will donate $.50 per garment to the National Kidney Foundation. Round Up Your Total! From now until Sunday, October 14th 2012 Traxler Tees will be asking if you want to “Round Your Total Up”. Example – your invoice total could be $112.16 – if you round it up to the  next dollar (ex.$.84 donation), five dollar (ex.$2.84 donation), or ten dollar (ex.$7.84 donation) mark – we will donate that directly to the National Kidney Foundation. Columbus, Ohio Job Listing – Experienced Silk Screen Printer – 1st Shift

As most of you know, our young business is growing rapidly and with growth, new jobs are created! We are hiring again for 1st Shift. Traxler Custom T-Shirts is looking for a flexible, dedicated, and experienced silk screen printer for our new location in Columbus. Position averages $12-15hr. 20-60 hours per week. Experience Needed (* indicates required experience): 2-4 year degree in Fine Arts or related curriculum, High School Diploma, or GED 3-5+ years experience in silk screen printing* (length of experience open to discussion) 2-5+ years experience in water-based* / plastisol* /  burnout / printing Heat press (heat transfer) Public event experience Semi-flexible schedule (due to large rush orders) Ability to learn from and share knowledge with current staff Ability to lift objects more than 50lbs and operate pressure sensitive equipment* (heat press) Customer Service experience Ability to operate with little or no supervision* Must provide physical examples of prior work* Required to complete test run of apparel during interview* (wear shop clothes) [Experience in silk screen printing includes and is not limited to: micro registration, screen technician, operations of all equipment and trouble shooting knowledge.] The silk screen production operator sets-up and operates various screen printing equipment to produce multicolor designs on orders that require screen printing applications.  Operates automatic and manual presses, inline numbering, abacus numbering machines to decorate orders requiring screen printing.  Must have 2 to 5 years of silk screen printing experience, knowledge of up to 8 color process work, a high school diploma or GED and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pay is negotiated upon skill set – we currently do not offer benefits but are working with several organizations to offer this. Updated pricing, policies, and more

We have been working tremendously hard to revamp TraxlerTees.com. Though there will never be and end to tweaking and adding features to the site, we wanted to update you on some of the changes. We have updated and added all of our pricing information. Those changes can be found here. Our online store policies have changed and we have added to our custom apparel policies. They can be seen here. We will be adding more apparel to the online store, but the most recent additions can be purchased here.
