Start Walking to Stop a Silent DiseaseThe Kidney Walk is a fun, inspiring noncompetitive fundraiser that calls attention to the prevention of kidney disease and the need for organ donation.
1 in 3 American adults are at risk of getting chronic kidney disease (CKD) and millions of them don’t even know it because there are relatively no symptoms of CKD. The Kidney Walk presents an occasion for dialysis patients, organ transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, the medical communities, and the general
public to celebrate LIFE and support the National Kidney Foundation’s (NKF) vital mission.The main goals of our walkers, besides walking, is to spread the word about the walk and raise money for NKF. Anyone can do this and we give you tools online and deliver materials to teams to make is easy.
